Blackberry Curve Apollo – More Details Emerge

  • Sharebar

The Blackberry Curve Apollo was originally leaked back in January, but has been relatively quiet since then. However, some new images have surfaced thanks to Onemobilering.

The Curve Apollo has a classic Blackberry look with an exposed QWERTY keyboard beneath the touch-screen.  The exact screen-size hasn’t been determined but Blackberry screens normally come in around 3 inches.

The Apollo is expected to be powered by an 800Mhz mobile processor, 512MB of RAM and is likely to run on Blackberry OS 7. Other features include a 5 mega-pixel camera, 3G and WiFi support, full QWERTY keyboard and NFC support.

Blackberry announced a number of Blackberry OS 7 smartphones and we’re not sure why the Curve Apollo wasn’t included in that announcement. Perhaps it won’t run on Blackberry OS 7 afterall, but   once we hear any more about the Blackberry Curve Apollo we’ll let you know.
